It was possible to keep the Penza zoo (in a city with the population less than one million person) with its original landscape (construction of additional modern enclosures, purchase of new species); stable international connections with foreign colleagues concerning conservation and breeding rare species, researching and specific recommendations for international “Red Book” (including project of conserving bustards in Russia).
23 year experience of work in the zoo, 13 of which as a director; selecting and working on improvement of skillful professional personnel team.
